It is with great pleasure that I tell you what a special lady Miss Barbara is so that during your consideration of a realtor, you will have some idea of what kind of person she is. My story regarding the purchase of my home is really a testimony to Miss Barbara and the kind of work she performs.

I had been out of the work force for 15-years when I met Miss Barbara. My income was solely Social Security Disability. My son had just finished a stint in the US Navy and was coming home after being gone for 6-years. I was legally blind at the time and was staying with my daughter. My son and I decided that we wanted to buy a house and we contacted Barbara. There was no credit for me as I was disabled and could offer nothing in the way of money for a down.

Barbara worked so hard to find a house for us and when things looked pretty bleak, she came through with a brand new, never lived in home at a price we could afford. We tried qualifying us through the bank that Barbara usually used and after 3-weeks, we found that no one had even started working on our case. Barbara said, “Well, you just keep the faith because I know a lady that is interested in getting my business” and she promptly pulled our papers and within a week she had us at another bank with this new person who really worked miracles for us.

It is impossible to buy a home with hardly any credit and a person on disability, believe me, but Barbara made it happen. Barbara would call me every day during the weeks we were looking for a home. I remember once when things looked very bad for us, she called me and we were on the phone until midnight while she worked miracles our for us. We got our home and through Miss Barbara’s generosity, she had us in it in 30-days.
